Spider-Man: Homecoming and the Social Justice Problem

by 07.17.2017

So, Spider-Man: Homecoming is out and it’s fantastic. Really good movie. However, it could have been derailed if Zendaya’s character in the film had more screen time. Thankfully she’s a minor character. Thing is, even though there is a small bit of upset people in regards to this, there’s good reason to be upset. Marvel has managed to stay away from partisan politics in its films, and no one wants that trend to change at all.
