Ever seen one of those comics that makes you wonder why a writer still does what he’s doing? How about one that comes across like it’s the Pravda? Well, Mark Waid has managed to pull that off. Champions issues 4-6 come across like a by the numbers team book at best, propaganda at worst. The dumbest tropes, the least effort, and the lamest bad guys.
