This Thursday we have a great guest on Crowdfunding Comics! I first met this creator at TERRIFICON: CT’s #1 Comic Con at Mohegan Sun and have been following his work every since. Without further ado, I’d like to introduce our guest for this Thursday Marat Mychaels!!
About Our Guest:
Marat Mychaels was born in Kiev, Russia. He grew up in Los Angeles, where he got his interest in comics working as a store clerk at the Golden Apple comic book store. He began working as an artist when he became the assistant of Rob Liefeld. Marat has worked in the comic book industry for over 25 years. He continued to work on many Image Comic titles including Supreme, Knightmare, Blindside, and Demonslayer. After Image Comics, Marat moved on to work for most of the major publishers including: Marvel Comics on titles such as Deadpool Corps and X-Force: Shatterstar, at DC Comics his credits include Hawk and Dove, and Grifter. Marat currently resides in Phoenix, AZ where he continues to be a freelance illustrator and runs his publishing company Counterpoint Comics working on his successful line of books, Do You Pooh?, Savage Eve, The Poohnisher, Hardlee Thinn.
