It’s rather disturbing that the upcoming Tolkien biopic completely removes references to J.R.R. Tolkien’s Christian faith. According to an article by PJ Media, it’s barely mentioned within the film, alongside other elements of his life that discuss that element of his life. It’s part of a larger trend that Hollywood has had alongside A Wrinkle In Time, Noah, and other films that are afraid of Christianity.
