Though it is rather blatant nepostism when it comes to this, it’s silly for comic book writers to get mad at J.J. Abrams and his son for getting a Spider-Man comic. Where were they when Eve Ewing got to write Ironheart with no previous comic book experience? Where were they when Ta-Nehesi Coates was given Black Panther despite being nothing more than a political sophist?

Comic pros are in no place to complain about nepotism. They enable it constantly.
