After watching five episodes of the Amazon show The Boys, it’s rather obvious that the show writer isn’t interested in telling Garth Ennis’ biting criticism of superheroes. Instead, the show creators are more interesting in telling another story wearing the skin of the original. An entire episode is dedicated to bashing Christian beliefs, characters are inconsistent, and it’s just a mess.
