Recently, an article in the Epoch Times detailed the British government is taking out literature like George Orwell’s 1984, Animal Farm, and other such books out of their schools. This is in favor of more “progressive” books. Oddly enough, these dystopian novels warn against the very type of big government that takes away freedom. So I take some time to talk about why we need such classic literature being read by our children.
