When #Comicsgate says that politics should stay out of comic books, what does it mean? Absolutely no politics at all? Or could it mean that the elements of a good comic—good story, interesting characters, beautiful art—must come first. That is, don’t push a political agenda at the expense of those elements? Frankly, I’m not sure we Comicsgaters know the answer to that.
