Ed Greenwood is an award winning fantasy writer who created Forgotten Realms fantasy campaign setting for TSR’s Dungeons & Dragons. He wrote a plethora of fantasy novels and created “Elminster” the greatest eccentric wizard of all time. He wrote for Ravenloft as well as indie work and continues to this day to create for his dedicated fans in the RPG gaming medium. He is also responsible for the creation of my favorite character archtype, “The Harpers”, who were Tymora worshiping fantasy secret service featured in novels and gaming source material in TSR starting in 1986. He was inducted into the Gamer’s Choice Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Academy of Adventure Gaming’s Hall of Fame in 2003, well deserved I might add. Ladies and gentleman, the inspiration and sole reason for my love of fantasy genre, a personal inspirational hero, Mr. Ed Greenwood!!!!
