Today I walk you briefly through the comic book coloring process and how to start coloring a page directly from pencils. I’m going to cover some beginning the process tips and tricks when using Photoshop. For beginners, How to kind of stuff. One of my favorite comics is Ultimates Vol. 3 penciled by Joe Mad (Madureira) and it was colored by Christian Lichtner directly over Mad’s pencils and it is my dream to create a comic replicating that look, style, and quality. I don’t get very far but I get the majority of the first panel done.
