WyzMusic – Trying to see if I can stream a LIVE Janet Jackson Streaming Concert

Moments ago I started interacting with a Facebook Event from “Streaming Live Concert Online 2020”. Supposedly they have Live and Live Streamed concerts from popular artists. I’ve since reported and blocked them due to suspicious behavior.

This appears to be a major scam. Very sketchy website. One tipoff is the frequent poor grammar and punctuation.
The link takes you to a generic site pastelink.net, complete with fake looking live chat. The chat NEVER changes. If it were a legit chat, you’d expect THOUSANDS of people typing messages every second. It forces you to install a Google Extension called TV Search (which replaces your default search engine and/or homepage), then forces you to install a Google Extension for TikTokSearches. I think it’s just a scam to get you to install all these intrusive Google Extensions. Google Extensions have no relevance to trying to register to watch a streamed concert online. Yet they force you to install these. No other options to skip and go straight to registration. I suspect it’ll just endlessly prompt you to install extensions one after another and you’ll end up never getting registered.

Don’t waste your time. I’ve wasted my time on your behalf. You’re welcome.
