With the National Comicbook Writing Month upon us I thought I should finish up this video about my writing planning process. I rarely sit down to write anymore without some sort of pre-planning.
Fail to plan, plan to fail.
In this video I take you through a typical planning process for me, from the nurturing of stray inspiration into a solid story concept through to the preparation of a working planning document from which you can write your entire script. There is no magic bullet, no right or wrong way to write. This is just what works for me.
I use the example of the script I will be writing for NaCoWriMo over the month of September. We’re a few days in but it’s not too late to make a start!
