The character in this piece is Kazuma from S-Cry-ed, a great retro anime. I started this piece with no idea what what I was doing. No sketching, no composition idea, and no color palette. The struggle was real here but I pushed through and learned some lessons. Lessons learned through painting the wrong way
1) Never give up.
2) Have an idea before you start (not just a character)
