June is Pride Month, and nothing says pride like a mega corporate getting into the creation of non-straight characters to pander to customers who come in once a year to get their comic fix! A short story titled ‘Be Gay, Do Crime’ in the DC Comics Pride Anthology will feature the new body-positive character Drummer Boy. Is this pandering, or a genuine attempt at highlighting characters of diverse body type and thoughts?
