I’ve talked at great lengths before about Golden Age comic book creator Lev Gleason and how he was cancelled in a big US government conspiracy involving the F.B.I and man who looks like he beats his wife Senator Joe McCarthy.

Cancelled for the crime of having the wrong political beliefs. Aparently attending a charity event to raise money for victims of a civil war is a crime.

But thats just one government department interfering with the arts. And eerybody knows the FBI are pussies compared to the infinitely cooler CIA with their far more impressive central american cout detats, puppet governments, banana republics and selling crack to black kids to fund Iranian Weapons, The FBI will tapp your phone but the CIA will read all your twitter dms and then kick down your front door and throw you in guantanamo.

Wow. I over sold that. The story isnt that action packed at all.

An interesting story from Frances Stonor Saunders in the Independant that the long rumoured existence of a co-ordinated CIA conspiracy inside the 1950s Modern art movement as part of a government funded culture war against Communism.

The CIA had uncovered intellegence that the Soviets absolutely hated and detested modern artworks by the likes of Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. And I mean just look at some of these supposed masterpeices. And we’ve all seen people stand around sniffing their own farts going oh, this piece is so deep! Or w/e. But no mate. Did Jackson Pollocks bollocks bring down the Soviet Union? No. That was David Hasselhoff… The CIA may have wasted millions of your tax dollars funding this bull shit just to “own the libs” or w/e but the real tragedy is that the American public fell for it too.

Luckily for them they’d already trained the general population to believe what the tv told them, especially the adverts, the little consumers brainwashed into buying shit they don’t like because the man on the screen told them to.

The artcile in the independent was interesting and send me down a rabbit hole. Its insane the lengths these corrupt intellegence agencies will go to in order to maintain their control over art and culture and the media and ‘free press’
