Coca Cola’s general counsel Bradley Gayton has been fired from his position after a scant 8 months on the job. The reason? Gayton introduced ‘aggressive’ diversity initiatives that included requiring the firm’s outside lawyers to meet diversity quotas. With the potential of lawsuits, compounded with Coca Cola’s earlier woes this year when they forced employees to take a CRT course admonishing them to “be less white”, is Coke starting to see the fallout from chasing woke dollars?
