A Tumblr user decided to ‘fix’ the famous The Amazing Spider-Man 601 Mary Jane cover by J Scott Campbell by removing her curves and making her more subservient. What they didn’t count on was J Scott Campbell taking notice of the fix and clapping back with his own ‘fixes’ of the redraw! Are these redraw attempts to fix the male gaze going overboard?
