DC Comics has recently announced that they are delaying the release of 28 (and counting) single titles in the coming months, citing supply chain issue as the reason. Affected titles range from highly anticipated number 1 issues to current ongoing comics. The story seems plausible when you noticed that manga publishing within the US seemed to be bogged by printing issues as well… until you realise that there is no such issue within Japan itself. Is this DC Comics’ plan to slowly slide into digital-only publications to avoid these “supply chain problems”?
