What a sad state of affairs it is when I have to agree with Nicki Minaj on the authoritarian trend in our country. You know the adage “I disapprove of what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”. Well, we need a new one for thinking someone’s music sounds like two chipmunks having sex on a trash can, but still believing they should be able to disagree with white liberals on twitter without being silenced off the platform for wrong think.
It’s times like these where it’s fun to look at the actual definitions for words, and here it is – LIBERAL – adjective – 1 willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one’s own; open to new ideas.
2 relating to or denoting a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise.
What a fun way to prove to the world that you don’t force black americans into a monolith by literally taking away freedoms and privileges for black americans who fail to follow the status quo. It’s almost like slavery was only abolished in the physical sense. Get bent, you social fascists.
