Executive Producer David Goyer for Netflix’s Sandman series has promised a “truthful adaptation” of the comic series, a very strange choice of words when most people will want to claim a “faithful” adaptation instead. What does that mean exactly in this modern day and age, when truth is what you perceive rather than actual verifiable facts?
