The journalists can’t help themselves when a show defies expectations and performs well but even more so when it is a success from outside of Hollywood. They are now claiming that Squid Game is proof that you don’t need an all-white cast to be a hit show… and the show is set in homogeneous South Korea? Where white people are a tiny minority instead? Yikes!
