Alex Ross is writing and illustrating a Fantastic Four comic book, but Marvel can’t seem to find enough change in the couch cushions to pay him, so they need to tie up with Abrams ComicArts to publish it? While Abrams has printed other art-type books for Marvel, this will be their first graphic novel venture with them. Is this a sign of Marvel outsourcing high-end comic projects that they can no longer afford?
