One of the biggest complaints from retailers during the peak of the MCU is that there were little to no comic books reflective of the characters as they appear on the big screen being made. DC Comics is trying to get their comic book sales going by issuing a free The Batman standee when retailers purchase 30 copies of certain trades, but will that be enough to get new readers on board when Batman fans would already own multiple copies of those titles?
