As more and more LOTR fans speak out about the very apparent woke-washing of Tolkien’s Middle Earth, those behind the scenes continue to double-down, calling these naysayers racists and bigots. Does this have anything to do with how Amazon essentially paid $250 million for Tolkien’s LOTR appendices and need to get people talking about the series, be it good or bad?
