The CW is about to be sold for $0. Yes, they are being acquired in exchange for their current outstanding debt that can be sitting at $100 million or more. Given the low popularity of the current CW shows, and the acquiring network’s plans to pivot to an older audience, does that mean that social justice-driven shows are unprofitable after all?
