As part of the Dark Crisis storyline, the Young Justice trio of Robin, Superboy and Impulse have found themselves stuck in a 90s-era of their world. In this world, Batman dismisses Tim Drake’s relationship with Bernard as “a phase”, making him appear homophobic. Then to really hammer home the point, Impulse calls this 90s multiverse “sexist, racist, homophobic”. Why all this hate for the nostalgic fans who are probably the bulk of the customers for this title to begin with?
