Lois Lane will be a biracial Asian American for… reasons in an upcoming DC Comics YA graphic novel. Reading the synopsis, it sounds like a case of self-insert for the author to envision herself as part of the DC universe a la I Am not Starfire. Does this race-swap actually service the story, or it is just to grab virtue points?
