Aside from Aftershock admitting that they are having trouble paying creators, Marvel Editor-in-Chief recently warned freelancers to not give up on their day job even if they are being paid to draw comics – a sign that comics work doesn’t pay well and on time. And although the comic industry has survived for decades on delayed payment from distributors, they no longer seem to be able to do so?!
