Ral Partha has been producing high quality fantasy, science-fiction, and historical miniatures for wargaming, collecting, and painting since 1975. Over the years several different people have played key roles in keeping that product available to the public. The most recent person to act as caretaker for the brand is Jacob Fathbruckner.
From 2015 to 2020, Jacob ran the “Chaos Wars” project for Iron Wind Metals, which re-released many classic Ral Partha miniatures, new miniatures compatible with the classics, and a revised set of tabletop wargaming rules. In 2020, under amicable circumstances, the “Ral Partha / Chaos Wars” part of Iron Wind Metals was broken off, to operate independently as Ral Partha Legacy.
RPL has continued to rerelease hundreds of additional classic miniatures, conversions of classic miniatures, and new sculpts. RPL is most proud to be working with both Tom Meier (Thunderbolt Mountain Miniatures) and Bob Charrette (Parroom Station Miniatures), and to be producing their intellectual properties under license.
With a handful of stalwart volunteers, the generosity of some top-talent industry professionals, and dedicated customers, RPL is looking forward to releasing more beautiful and weird miniatures in both the immediate and far future.
