In a recent livestream, Mark Waid doubles-down on wanting to see the industry “burn down” than to have to work with the “alt-right”. The problem is that he has defined the alt-right as anyone “right-leaning”, which makes it half or more of the country. When creators become obsessed with real world politics and refuse to work with one another over this, is the industry doomed to collapse?
