A bit of Dirt Diggers… Bob Hannah winning back to back races in 1978-79 at first Placerville, and then Prairie City…. Rick Johnson’s fourth and final win outside Sacramento over Jeff Ward in 1988… legendary John Dowd’s first rain-soaked national win in 1991, and how it led to Jean-Michel Bayle’s 250 outdoor title…. and Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart in an epic battle at RC’s last outdoor race in California.

And oh yeah… Eli Tomac’s first ever national win.
