Disney has been attempting to grab the female audience for their Star Wars and Marvel franchises, but the hardcore data is in – 70% of the audience for those franchises continue to skew male even after a decade of saying “The Force is female”. Should they continue to change their content to grab the women audience, or should they try to hold onto what customers they already have?
