My video art diary of my work for my independent comic book, The Lucent. This comic book art is actually for my trading card set, available to order at thelucentcomic.com. In it I’m colouring Artemas, a man is ‘gifted’ a kind of immortality, as he appears over the century, starting in Roman times, then as a Celtic warrior, a Medieval scholar, a Renaissance woodsman, an 18th century admiral, and finally a World War One Captain. I love telling a story with characters such as this, as they allow me to explore concepts such as mortality and the meaning of life, and doing so in comic book form means I get to actually visualise what such a character would look like over the centuries.
