In this video I’m sketching and then inking a sketch card of Peter Simeti’s creator-owned comic book character, King Cryptid, from his small press publishing company Alterna. Sketching and inking traditionally is not something I do for my own comic, but given the rise of AI, I’m starting to think that honing these skills will be an important part of any artist’s portfolio, but especially digital artists.
