My video art diary of my work for my independent comic book, The Lucent. This comic book art is from my upcoming book, Fractured Mind. In it, I’m colouring two pages at the same time. ‘Batching’ work is easily the most successful way I’ve found of speeding up the art making process. Switching between different tasks just means less time in ‘the zone’, and causes catastrophic interruptions to the flow of work. So whenever possible, I bundle similar tasks together and smash the work out at sometimes twice the speed I would’ve been able to manage had I been doing it bit by bit.
