Refrences for comics #5

by 07.05.2025

5- THE REFERENCE IS OUT THERE.
Remember make copies of..
-Realistic anatomy
-Top 3 Cartoonists
-Monsters
-architecture
-modes of transportation
-genre related stuff pertinent to your comic world.

You want to keep your refrences copies in a manilla folder, rather then having 10 tabs open on a phone or computer. It’s good to have physical copies of ref material. You want to have them taped up on your board or scattered around you when you’re brainstorming and training, you wanna be able to look up and not have to swipe and click taking you out of the zone. Once you have a few folders filled up, it would be a good time for a file box. Don’t go crazy, just 1 file box is plenty.

I hope this video gives you the drive and inspiration to think about constructs that you will be visualizing and manifesting onto paper. All these things are going to slowly build up your comic universe on the backburner of your mind.
