#6 HIRE A WRITER

hope this video makes you second guess if you should or should’nt write your first comic alone. Also the writer is there to help–they are going to see things you don’t see. If you have the script, plot and story at least give them a chance to see if they can make it better! Remember there are a lot of indie professional writers that are affordable or maybe will cut a deal with you and you could always go 50/50 on an IP together with a respected contract. The writer is there to help make the Artist’s job easier and to offset some of the workload.

But if you wanna be a fool and go it alone, and do your first book all by yourself like I did..I GIVE YOU MAD PROPS, AND FOLLOW YOUR GUT!
