Most superhero movies usually have a comic book tie-in done, either a one-shot or a mini-series. However, DC Comics did no such thing for James Gunn’s Superman movie, and instead seem to have practically ignored it in all their marketing. Is this a sign of how badly they expected the movie to perform, or have comics become detached from the movies?
