An artist was recently escorted out of a convention for allegedly selling AI art, and many artists are cheering the decision. However, why are these artists focused on kicking out AI art alone? Why are they not trying to remove vendors from Artist Alley for not selling actual art? Where is the line drawn on who can be at a convention or what can be sold at one? Or are convention owners just interested in selling as many booths as possible?
