The newest Batman comic book series by Matt Fraction will consist of only one-shot stories, meaning each issue is a self-contained story that does not span across multiple issues. This used to be the norm in the comic industry until the advent of the trade format. Will this help boost sales for comic books and help draw in more casual readers? Or is it too little, too late?
