Artists are finding out that whatever fanart or fan-made creations they have done based off popular characters can be used by the corporates that own those characters without credit or compensation. Since fan-creations are essentially skirting copyright laws, is there a rush to do more fanworks? Are creators better off working on their own characters instead?
