Two anime titles have hit the top of the movie box office in the last month: Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man. Both are new IPs that are not even 10 years old each, but Demon Slayer has defeated much older and better known characters such as Superman and the Fantastic Four. Will Hollywood end up losing to the anime market? Current box office receipts seem to suggest that.
