This five-issue limited series is the jumping-off point for a brand-new and unique world of esoteric knowledge, quirky characters, twisting mysteries, and more. The sole vision of Fabrizio Aiello brings all things weird fiction, occult, and pulp together into a never-before-seen experience.
Issue #4 in this series is 100% complete! The writing, pencils, inks, colors, and lettering are finished, and proofs are already being printed. Issues #1–3 have already been published and will go through another round of printing and available as AdOns.
While wearing something that looks suspiciously like a vacuum cleaner on his head, H.H. Hoover is pulled into a dangerous and epic adventure to save a man he once knew from an eternal fate worse than death. What begins with a young girl’s haunting will take Hoover across different universes, underground evil lairs, janitor’s closets, and the maze of a mysterious giant!
In this limited mini-series, multiple stories are woven throughout all five issues. In Issue #4, we find the thrilling conclusion to the Smoke Man mystery!
This full-color, standard-sized comic is 38 pages in total. Each issue is printed on thicker paper stock with a matte-finish cover. The colors are vibrant, a throwback to the ’70s and ’80s style of art, color, and storytelling (with a modern spin).
The Man Behind the Vacuum
That would be me, Fabrizio Aiello — the writer, artist, and publisher of H.H. Hoover. The story of H.H. Hoover goes back to 2017, beginning with a 3D sculpture that evolved into sketches and finally a published book in 2021.
After the first two issues, I decided to self-publish. With such a unique concept, having total creative control — as well as managing distribution — felt like the best approach for readers. Issue #3 was published in 2024, and Issue #5 is already in the works.
I’ve been creating art for decades as a freelance 3D artist and illustrator. I also have a YouTube channel where I stream live art sessions and chat about comics and creativity in general.
