Miles Morales co-creator Sara Pichelli has come forward to say that she has not seen any money from the usage of her creation from the Spidervere movies or video games. This is an age-old problem in the American comic industry where creators are not compensated for derivative characters. Will this have an impact on their ability to hire good creators, and should creators continue to give their best ideas to Marvel and DC Comics?
