We’re reflecting on the recent passing of Dan Simmons, a significant “author” and “writer” in the “sci fi” genre, whose “books” have left a lasting impact on many, including myself. His contributions to “science fiction books” were immense with Hyperion, Endymion and more, and his passing is a great loss to the community. It makes me think about the importance of “reading” and appreciating such talents while they are with us.
