There is a return to nostalgia, with Arnold Schwarzenegger coming back to a Conan Movie, Jackie Chan back to the Rush Hour franchise, Brendan Fraser returning to The Mummy franchise and so on. Is Hollywood admitting that their superhero fare is no longer bringing in the audience and are trying to get back the movie goers who used to turn out for blockbuster action films?
