This is the story of a group of independent comic book creators, with countless books published among them (and in the case of Per Berg, published with respected studios like Dark Horse) who attended the 2023 Tampa Bay Comic Con, then for some, later attended a club called The Castle in Ybor City. When they returned to their respective homes after the con, they were met with lies, slander, and in soe cases public humiliation. Why?

This documentary presents the death knell of the comicsgate movement and why Jon Malin, Shane Davis, and ultimately Ethan van Sciver resorted to the tactics they used to drive way a group of well liked creators and their fanbases.
