One of the most well-known comic piracy sites, ReadComicsOnline, has been taken down. Twitter has been abuzz about this, lamenting the loss and claiming it was the only reason why they even read comics. If the only way to get readers to care about comics is to give it to them for free, how will the industry survive in the future?
