Kickstarter has walked back their no adult content policy after a few days of uproar from some creators, effectively going back to their old policy while blaming the new requirements on their payment processor, Stripe. That means that they will still terminate a project if required by their payment processor. Does this have anything to do with the number of LGBTQIA adult comics on their platform and the resulting outcry? Why does Kickstarter not just go all in on an adult payment processor?
