John Romita Jr’s Amazing Spider-Man #1000 cover has brought a lot of new attention to the title at a time when Dan Slott has to plea with readers to make sure they buy the single issues, or the series will get canceled by issue 5. Spider-Man’s pose has been mocked by many on the internet, and with Marvel pulling the cover, has now allowed the SJW Cancel Mob to celebrate that they managed to get a legendary Spider-Man artist canceled. But is this all just one big marketing trick from Marvel Comics to get people talking about their books once more?
